Beach Memories

So when I was away on vacation in Coco Cay I was able to find my own little piece of paradise! Maybe it was the name Barefoot Beach that got me.  Maybe because it was away from where all the kids were on the island making it quiet and calm.  Maybe it was the white sand and thatched cabanas.  I don't know, but laying in a lounge chair on that beach was the most relaxing part of my trip! After a barbecue lunch and snorkling, kicking back in the sun was the perfect way to finish off the afternoon. From my lounge chair there were two chairs these guys had brought over to the water's edge during low tide.  I could see a perfect picture in my head from where I was and was so greatful that they left before I did so I could get the pic of the chairs without anyone else in the shot. The picture came out just like I had it pictured in my head and I really don't know what it was about that shot that I loved. Of all the pictures I took that weekend there were so many others that better depicted the beaches, that were so much more vibrant, or had so much more life and energy, yet I kept going back to that shot of the beach chairs. Over this past weekend I found myself at Michael's and as I was going through some of the stickers that were beach and cruise themed I came across one with a saying on it that I just loved because for me it was so true. I now had a purpose for my beloved, calm, beach chair picture :)

Though I watched my footprints wash away before my eyes while I walked those sandy beaches, there's no way I could forget the wonderful time I had there :)

Cheers :)
