Sunflowers

It hit me about a week ago that it's probably been years since I've been to Buttonwood Farms for ice cream.  After an unsuccessful attempt to get there over the weekend I decided I'd head down today and at least see the sunflowers that were blooming.  In years past when I've tried to go see them it was always after all the festivities and I had to just take some pictures from the road.  Well the farm was hopping today and I took a stroll through the path in one of the sunflower fields to get some up close pictures.

Still no ice cream but it was a perfect day to be outside and take pictures of the flowers :)   Cheers!!
