Chicago Day 6

Our final day in Chi Town was a busy one (much like the rest of the week!!). It started off with the 2 hour drive out to the university to pick up Kev and see what he's been working on all week.
The road out there wasn't too exciting, lots of corn fields and the occasional wind mill.
Honestly all the driving, whether it was to the university or into the city wasn't that bad, but maneuvering around the school was the hardest part . . . we did a lot of circles around campus before we found where we were trying to go!!

Kev seemed to have had a good week, try some new things, and polish up some he would need for the upcoming season.

When we headed home we decided to go into the city and use the last of our city passes which was to the Adler Planetarium
We got to see another 3-D show about space junk, there was a machine where you could make craters (I think it almost scared the pants off Kev the first time he did it), there were moon rocks, and simulators where you could land a ship on the moon :)
 A piece of the moon!!

 Learning about the sun
A piece of the moon that you can touch

We closed the place down and still had plenty of time and energy to check out what else was going on in the city
Of course we did handstands all over the place, and headed back over to the parks to check out what was going on at the Taste of Chicago.

There was a road race going on, live music, food . . .
. . . and all kinds of people!!
We flew home the next day and were back in the gym soon there after.  I had a blast though, wish I could of had a few more days there.  Oh well, guess I'll just have to find a reason to go back!!
Cheers!!
